Summer Works Do 2025: Sunshine, Bao Buns & Beers by the Water ☀️🍻
Last Friday, we swapped our desks for the dockside and kicked off the summer in style with our annual Summer Works Do – a perfect mix of sunshine, good vibes, and even better food.
We started the afternoon at the always-gorgeous Water Lane Boathouse, soaking up the Leeds sunshine by the canal. Drinks were flowing, conversations were buzzing, and it was great to catch up with everyone in a setting that didn’t involve a calendar invite.
Not to mention the sun was shining making it even better to enjoy soaking it all in on their outdoor terrace whilst sipping our beers.
After a couple of rounds and plenty of laughs, we made our way over to Archie’s, where BaoBros23 were serving up serious flavour from their kitchen inside We tucked into steamy bao buns, packed with everything from crispy chicken to tender pork belly. We also had some delicious salt and pepper chicken wings and an absolutely ridiculous (in the best way) amount of loaded fries. Think braised beef, spicy mayo, and crunchy toppings piled high – we were not shy with the portions!
The evening rolled on with more drinks, more stories, and lots of laughs – no games, no agenda, just some good old-fashioned downtime with the team.
